AIVA ("we", "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
A. Personal Information
- Account Data: When you sign up, we collect your email address, authentication identifier, profile name, and profile image through our authentication provider.
- Beauty Profile: Skin type, skin concerns, hair type, hair length, beauty goals, and similar preferences you choose to provide.
- Purchase State: Subscription status, product ID, credit balance, renewal period, and RevenueCat purchase event logs needed to process subscriptions, restores, and credit packs.
B. Photo and Usage Data
- Beauty Photo Data: Selfies, reference photos, generated try-on images, saved looks, and community posts you create or share.
- Usage Data: App interactions and diagnostics used to improve reliability, performance, and user experience.

What Beauty Photo Data We Collect
- Photographs: Selfies and reference images that you capture or upload for makeup, hair, and beauty try-on features.
- Generated Images: AI-generated beauty looks, try-on results, and images you save to your gallery or share to the community.
- AI Chat Context: Beauty preferences, saved looks, and user-provided prompts used to provide context-aware responses.
How We Use Beauty Photo Data
- Beauty Try-Ons: To generate makeup, hair, and beauty transformation previews.
- Saved Looks: To store looks you choose to keep in your account history or gallery.
- Community Sharing: To display looks you choose to publish inside community features.
- Personalized Advice: To provide tailored beauty suggestions through AIVA chat.
What We Do NOT Use Beauty Photo Data For
- Biometric recognition or identity verification
- Surveillance or tracking
- Selling to third parties for advertising
- Training AI models without explicit consent
3. Third-Party AI Services
To provide beauty analysis, image generation, and chat features, AIVA uses third-party AI services.
OpenRouter and Google Gemini Models
- Data Sent: Photos, prompts, and related beauty context needed to complete the requested feature.
- Processing: Inputs are processed to generate the requested beauty result or AI chat response.
- Protection:Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and handled under the providers' privacy and security practices.
Before using AI features, you will be asked to provide explicit consent acknowledging that your submitted content may be sent to third-party AI services for processing.
4. Other Third-Party Services
- Clerk: Provides authentication and account management.
- Convex: Stores account records, credits, saved looks, community content, and server-side app data.
- RevenueCat: Processes subscription and credit-pack purchase state from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
5. How We Use Your Information
We use your data strictly to:
- Provide the Service: Processing your photos and prompts to generate AI-based beauty try-ons and chat responses.
- User History: Storing saved looks so you can view them later.
- Account Management: Managing authentication, subscriptions, credit packs, credits, and restore flows.
- Community Features: Displaying looks you choose to share.
- Reliability: Improving app performance, safety, and customer support.
6. Data Retention
Beauty Photo Data Retention
- Uploaded Photos: Photos are stored when needed for saved looks, gallery history, or community posts you choose to create.
- Generated Images: Generated looks are retained when you save or share them and are removed from active systems when your account is deleted.
- Third-Party Processing: AI inputs are sent to third-party providers to complete the requested feature.
Account Data Retention
Account data, saved looks, generated images you save or share, credit state, and purchase event logs are retained while your account exists. When you delete your account, AIVA removes your app account data, credits, saved looks, and community content from active systems.
Deleting your AIVA account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Subscription cancellation must be managed through your device's store settings.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can exercise these rights directly within the app under Settings > Account > Delete Account or by contacting us.
9. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page and update the Last Updated date.
